Cassel & Fletcher are delighted to have secured planning for one of Rochdale’s historic mills. 

Originally built in the 1800’s, it has since been occupied by Littlewoods, McDonalds and more recently PoundWorld.

Planning includes 22 brand new modern apartments, with 7 retail units spanning the ground and lower ground floors.

A new story will be added to the existing structure to accommodate the additional living space making this one of the most exciting development schemes in the area, bringing high-end living accommodation together with added retail opportunities to this popular and growing area of Rochdale.

In line with the historical design of the building, and considering its location within the Rochdale Town Centre Conservation Area, the proposed scheme along with all its external alterations will largely retain and complement the existing appearance of the building.
